People for Venezuela
Our very first cause is to provide health and nutritional assistance to people in poverty or extreme poverty in Venezuela. It is estimated that 80% of Venezuelans live in poverty, and 50% in extreme poverty.
Food is scarce or extremely expensive. Few can afford basic goods, this is why our mission is to distribute free food to take as many people as we can, so they can stay away from trash cans.
Food is not always available. Often times it takes weeks or months for food to arrive. Selection is a thing of the past; today, you can only buy what is available, a the price of the day…
Medicines are also scarce and medical services insufficient or not affordable. We have partnered with a local ambulatory center to cover the costs of caring for those in need, specially children and the elder.
Helping Houston
Houston the south of Texas has suffered what may be the worst disaster in their history. Recovery will take years. The entire nation is coming together to assist people in need.
